Greetings! I had this idea long ago, but never tried it our on reddit, so here I am. It is an alternate storyline of Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. What if there is a knight, a young man, already accomplished as he travelled to make a name for himself, helping other countries and kingdoms. As he returns to Hyrule he is celebrated and raised to the position of highest royal knight, protector of the royal family. He befriends the princess, is on equal terms with Impa, takes his job serious, even helps the soon to be Hero of time. But then the dark clouds and the attack, that has been prophecised by the princess and ignored by the king happened. As Ganondorf attacks the Castle he duels him, to give Impa and the princess time to escape. He is able to beat Ganondorf in a swordduel but loses, since Ganondorf is able to use magic. Left to die the knight swore to protect Hyrule, but was made retreat by the overwhelming army of Ganondorf. For 7 years he builds up a rebellion, painfully slow, since the aid is low by the other nobles. Until one day a Shiekah appears, entering the Hideout, which was of Shiekah origin, and offers help. Unknown to the knight, the princess he swore to protect came back, hidden her true form, to aid to save her kingdom. -- This would be the base idea. I would be looking for someone to play Zelda/Sheik (preferrably) but I am open for others to discuss.
