I am 18+ and all characters and participants must be 18+ My prompts are always open, even if they’re old. If it interests you, feel free to message me. (I can write in first or third person. I’m going to write a brief introduction in third.) The Siren’s Song A dingy, little tavern that sat on the port side of the city. Sure, it had a rustic seaside charm to it, but to Maela it was just another place to play her music and (hopefully) continue to earn her keep. Maela isn’t necessarily new to these parts, despite occasionally hopping from tavern to tavern to pluck her lute, singing sweet song after song. Who said the life of a bard was an easy one? It was hard to pull oneself out of the lower parts of the city. Maela had hoped she could make a name for herself by now, but truth be told, she felt stuck. It was as if she were running in place, getting nowhere fast, and playing at the same old place, night after night. One day something was bound to change… just maybe? Prompt Ideas: My character, Maela, is purposefully left vague in this little introduction. I love creating fun and interesting characters, and I want her to complement whoever you plan to write as. I have lots of potential ideas for her and the prompt, and I’d love to share some with you. Maela is a bard, as you can probably tell. She’s been playing at The Siren’s Song for a long time now and is burning out with the lack of direction in her life. She craves adventure, or at least a different scene. This is where your character comes into play!! I want to stress that you can play whoever you like, I really want you to resonate with your character. (I will say, I’m not the hugest fan of anthros or overly feminine men, but hopefully we can still work something out!) It’s important to me that you like who you play as! I have a few ideas for how our characters meet!! The first idea I have will thrust our characters into some action and drama. — The tavern is closing for the night and Maela is wrapping up her work. Your character rushes in needing a place to hide. He’s desperate, possibly injured, and definitely in some trouble. Maela will help him escape, and possibly even hide him from his pursuers. This could lead to her getting into all sorts of situations with your character, depending on why he is running away in the first place. He could be a criminal, or maybe he was framed? Whatever the reason, luck certainly isn’t on his side, and now Maela is pushed into this situation too! I’d love to plan it out with you. This next idea is calmer than the first. Your character is a regular at the tavern and Maela has a painfully obvious crush on him. Maybe he finds it cute? Maybe he is going to take advantage of it? Your character could see a use for Maela’s bardic skills, maybe he actually wants to recruit her into The Adventure’s Guild and work together, thinking her crush will subside? But what happens when it doesn’t? I’d love to explore this possibility with you. My preferences: I should go ahead and state that, while this prompt is D&D-inspired, no lore or actual knowledge is required. I’m also not looking for a DM/GM, nor to play as one. I love collaborative storytelling and I’d like this to be something we do together. I should probably go ahead and state that I’m in EST/US. I don’t mind if your timezone is different. My responses can be sporadic at times, despite having decent availability. Despite my love for writing, IRL absolutely comes first and I will not pressure you for replies, and would like the same courtesy when I am busy. I like a casual “respond as able” low-pressure approach, with friendly OOC vibes if it suits you. My writing style is literate to advanced literate. I typically write 2-4 paragraphs but my response length is largely dynamic. One post might be a paragraph or two, the next might hit the character limit if inspired enough. It really depends on your preferences and how things flow. I can write in first or third person, with more experience in third. Kinks and limits: My kinks can be discussed fully whenever we privately connect, but it’s worth stating that I am submissive. My limits are: Gore, vore, bad endings, toilet play, pregnancy, lactation, group/sharing, anthro/furry, and things of that sort.
